Today marked a special occasion at Gisenyi Hospital as VJN joined the hospital staff to celebrate World Patient Safety Day, a global event dedicated to increasing public awareness and engagement, enhancing understanding, and spurring global solidarity and action to promote patient safety. The day was filled with meaningful activities, heartfelt moments, and a shared commitment to ensuring the well-being of patients and healthcare providers alike.
The event began in the morning with a warm welcome from the hospital administration, who expressed their gratitude to VJN for partnering with them to make the day memorable. The hospital's director, Dr. Jean-Claude Niyomugabo, emphasized the importance of patient safety in healthcare delivery. "Patient safety is not just a slogan; it is a responsibility we all share. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to every patient who walks through our doors," he said.
VJN, known for its dedication to community development and youth empowerment, brought a unique touch to the celebration.
