Divine leads the Economic Empowerment Department, overseeing programs and projects that equip youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. She represents VJN in Musanze District under the project financed by Misereor , engaging with local authorities, partners, and communities to advance the organization's economic empowerment initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, implementation, and oversight of youth-focused economic empowerment projects
- Representing VJN before local government, partners, and stakeholders in Musanze District
- Providing technical guidance and support to field agents and program staff
- Building youth capacity in Groups of Saving and Loan Associations (GSLA) to promote financial literacy and access to credit
- Monitoring project performance and ensuring alignment with VJN's economic empowerment goals
- Strengthening partnerships that expand opportunities for youth entrepreneurship and self-reliance
With her expertise in Savings and Loan Associations and her leadership across multiple youth projects, Divine plays a driving role in advancing VJN's mission of empowering young people toward economic independence.
