VISION JEUNESSE NOUVELLE PROGRAM

Economic Empowerment

Catalyzing youth entrepreneurship, cooperative incubation, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods.

About the Program

Our Mission, Philosophy & Approach

Facilitating financial independence for young people through Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA), start-up toolkits, and cooperative business support.

VJN’s Economic Empowerment Program directly tackles youth poverty and underemployment by creating pathways to sustainable income generation. We support young entrepreneurs through business mentorship, financial literacy training, and access to capital via Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA).

Our dedicated project portfolio—including initiatives like Youth for Youth, Co-live, Bahoneza, ECOREF, and HUGUKA DUKORE—has enabled hundreds of youth cohorts to launch thriving cooperative enterprises, access micro-finance, and build resilience against economic shocks.
