The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the effective management of VJN's human resources, including staff administration, recruitment, employee records, performance management, staff welfare, and implementation of organizational HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Human Resources Management: Supports the day-to-day management and administration of VJN's workforce.
- Recruitment & Selection: Coordinates recruitment processes, including vacancy announcements, applications, interviews, and onboarding.
- Employee Records: Maintains accurate and confidential personnel files, contracts, attendance records, and other HR documentation.
- Staff Welfare: Supports employee wellbeing, workplace relations, and a positive organizational working environment.
- Performance Management: Coordinates staff performance appraisal processes and supports professional development initiatives.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Helps implement HR policies, procedures, and employment practices in accordance with organizational requirements and applicable regulations.
- Leave & Attendance Management: Monitors staff attendance, leave requests, and related personnel records.
- Staff Development: Supports training, capacity building, orientation, and other professional development activities.
- Employee Relations: Assists in addressing workplace concerns and promoting effective communication between staff and management.
- HR Reporting: Prepares HR reports and provides relevant workforce information to management for decision-making.
