Adolescents participating in interactive peer health education workshop

Peer health educators conduct interactive workshops covering reproductive health, mental wellness, hygiene, and substance abuse prevention.

Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle’s mobile health outreach team completed a comprehensive four-week wellness campaign across 12 secondary schools in Rubavu District.

By employing peer-led participatory methods, the campaign creates safe, non-judgmental environments where adolescents access scientifically grounded health information, counseling, and guidance.

Empowering Youth with Knowledge and Compassionate Support

The health program has trained 60 peer educators who maintain ongoing youth-friendly help desks within participating schools.

In addition to school sessions, the team provides confidential counseling and referrals in partnership with local community health clinics.
